Our December ’24 meeting featured Iestyn Edwards in a tutu.
Iestyn Edwards made four tours to Afghanistan and Iraq as an entertainer with Combined Services Entertainment tours to raise the morale of troops involved in conflict.
This presentation was a medley of anecdotes about his experiences on tour in drag. It featured slightly risqué jokes and ended with Welsh songs in his fine baritone.
For this meeting we had small cabaret style table set up and enjoyed mince pies, baclava and mulled wine. It was a most enjoyable, festive afternoon!
