We will be welcoming Dave Annal to our April ’25 meeting. He has more than 40 years experience as a family historian and researcher. Formerly a Principal Family History Specialist at the National Archives he was elected a Fellow of the Society of Geneologists in 2019. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society (2022). He has written a number of family history books and is a regular contributor to Family Tree Magazine.
In his talk Fact from Fiction Dave will explore themes if inheritance, illegitimacy and identity, themes which appear in the great 19th century novels and may have affected our own ancestry.
