Our February meeting was to have been a presentation of ‘Les Liaisons Dangereuses’ by Ellen Cheshire showing the development of the novel from book to the various film versions. Due to an equipment malfunction we were unable to see the whole presentation so Ellen led a general discussion about films and film-making.
Members joined in enthusiastically and what could have been a disaster turned out to be a lively and interesting evening.
