Our Christmas lunch was held at Boxgrove on December 5th on a wet and dismal day. It was just the thing to cheer us all up! The welcome drink enabled us to chat, mingle and get to know each other better. Twenty eight members enjoyed a delicious traditional Christmas meal interspersed with seasonal and humorous readings by, Simon Brett, John Clegg and Pat Sparkes. They all did an excellent job as did all the kitchen staff, Chefs Ken and Anna Mee and waitress Marissa , all ably organised by Louise who managed the menu and all the logistics of the shopping! The committee also really appreciated the support of Nigel and Wendy Gossop and Pat Sparkes who helped with set up of tables and clearing up.
